2022 Christian Ani Awards

To celebrate the Christian and West Michigan historical connection to American animation and the voices shaping the future, we decided to create the 2022 Christian Ani Awards. This in-house award celebrates members of the CAS fam who've made an outstanding contribution toward shaping the future of Christian animation. We will especially be highlighting the young leaders with the Young Influencer Award, because we believe animation is the future of Christian media.

                                                            DID YOU KNOW?
​Did you know that many of the top animators in America are believers? In fact, animation in America was created by Spring Lake, MI native, Winsor McCay, a Christian. The top award in animation, given at the Annie Awards, is named after him.

YOUNG INFLUENCER AWARD

The Young Influencer Award honors the young people in animation, children who are the REAL superstars of tomorrow. These young talents have accomplised so much this year - directed, produced, animated, illustrated, they are outstanding and highly popular voice actors, so deserve the Young Influencer Award. Each child who has participated will get a tailor-made award just for them. To recognize the seed of greatness God has planted in them. In Jesus' Name.

​​Why an In-House Award?
This is not meant to be an industry-wide, comprehensive award for the entirety of Christian animation. We just wanted to have a pizza party for the kids in January, and to give us older folks a reason to smile in the cold, dark winter.
